UNDERSTANDING BUDDHA’S FEARLESSNESS
with Kadam Peter
We have so many fears, such as losing our loved ones, sickness, rejection, failure, or the future of our world. This course will guide us in the process of learning to transform our fears and anxieties into a positive energizing force that takes us toward a state of fearlessness. In this practice, known as going for refuge, we neither indulge nor deny the fears and dangers in our lives, rather we acknowledge and transform them through uncovering their actual source. DEVELOPING A COURAGEOUS HEART
We have so many fears these days: fears for ourselves, our family and friends, and for our world. Sometimes these fears are manifest and sometimes they are beneath the surface, giving rise to anxiety and insecurity. What do we turn to protect us from fear and anxiety? According to Buddha’s teachings it is possible to transcend our fears and attain a state of fearlessness.
