RELIABLE MINDS for DIFFICULT TIMES
How does one cope with the uncertainty and instability of our daily problems and world issues? Challenging times drive us to rely upon un-peaceful states of mind such as anger, attachment and fear. These minds offer false protection. Buddhist teachings encourage us to recognize them as delusions. Learning to meditate helps us to rely upon peaceful states of mind and virtuous actions. This series will introduce Buddhism and explain how meditation can offer authentic protection.
Offered in December in Millburn Mall, Ridgewood and Shrewsbury.

We all know how to be happy when things are going well in our lives. The challenge comes when things go wrong. If we can’t learn to respond peacefully, we will never be free from our problems. In this series we will explore the root of our problems, and how with meditation we can learn to respond to them peacefully. By learning to meditate, we can maintain a happy mind even when faced with difficult situations.
