At Dharmachakra Kadampa Buddhist Center we offer instruction in meditation and Buddhist spiritual practice.
Everyone is welcome - whether you’re brand new to meditation and seeking relaxation techniques, or you’ve been practicing meditation for a long time and are now seeking a spiritual path.
All of our drop-in classes, study programs, workshops & chanted prayers are offered in-person. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our new space: any age, gender, race, sexuality, background, religion, income level. Everyone welcome!

Stress, anxiety and depression are endemic in our busy, fast paced life. We tend to think that situations or people in our life are the causes of our stress or unhappiness, so we then spend a lot of time mentally trying to figure out how to fix those situations or people. This can result in feelings of anxiety or we’re simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life.
In this series, Gen Chogyop will explore meditation methods and ways of thinking derived from Buddha’s teachings that will help us to let go of our stressed and anxious minds and deal with our negative emotions more confidently and effectively. Everyone welcome! - With Gen Chogyop

This profound book is rich in Buddhist wisdom, offering a foundational understanding of key concepts such as rebirth, death, karma, samsara, love, compassion, emptiness, and the cultivation of bodhichitta.

Take 30 minutes in the middle of the day to cultivate inner peace and happiness. These short classes offer practical meditations on gaining mindfulness and concentration which will eventually lead to deep levels of inner peace. No previous meditation experience is necessary. Perfect for beginners and more experienced meditators.
