The Amazing Meditation for
Healing Body and Mind
Mondays 7:00-8:15pm (no class 12/30) 150 Main Street, Millburn NJ
The meditation known as Taking and Giving, in Tibetan "tonglen", has been used for centuries as a healing meditation. Not only is this meditation legendary for its physical healing properties, it is also a powerful method for healing painful mental tendencies such as insecurity, anger and hurt.
Taking and Giving practice gives rise to innumerable benefits, including boosting positive energy, purifying the mind and in particular enabling us to deal skillfully and peacefully with our daily challenges. Gen Chogyop will introduce us to this amazing practice – which is quite simple and can be practiced by anyone – and then in this 6-week series, take us deeper and deeper into this beautiful and life-enhancing method. Everyone welcome!
