Everyone is welcome - whether you’re brand new to meditation and seeking relaxation techniques, or you’ve been practicing meditation for a long time and are now seeking a spiritual path.

Happiness and suffering are states of mind, and so their main causes are not to be found outside the mind. If we want to be truly happy and free from suffering, we must learn how to control our mind.

Where does our unhappiness,,insecurities and other challenges reside? The answer of course is, our mind. If we could simply change our mind we would free ourselves from these painful tendencies. However, we often find changing our mind to be very difficult. Our mind feels very stuck in its ways and so we keep thinking the same old thoughts in the same old way. We feel we can’t change and therefore we can't have the life that we want. According to Buddha, this is a sign that we don’t actually know the nature of the mind.

In this series, Gen Chogyop will introduce us to an extraordinary meditation on the nature of the mind.. Everyone welcome! - With Gen Chogyop

Heart-Centered Living: The Power of Love

Tuesdays in January 7:00-8:15pm
150 Main Street, Millburn NJ

Love is one of the most essential aspects of being human, yet it’s often misunderstood. While we all desire love in our lives, it’s frequently intertwined with pain and confusion. Many view love as an uncontrollable force—something that simply happens to us, elusive and rare, with true love being seen as a stroke of luck. The Buddhist perspective offers profound insights that bring wisdom and clarity to this complex topic. In Buddhism, love is not just a fleeting emotion but a practice of deep compassion and connection that transforms how we relate to ourselves and others. Everyone welcome! - With Gina and Niko
